In this video, I explain the new changes incorporated in the curriculum and the need to design effective learning situations for teaching English. I discuss the importance of relating the learning situations to students' real life and the importance of using a student-based methodology. I outline the various elements of a learning situation and provide guidance on incorporating them into a learning programme. I cover elements such as justification, curricular elements, activities and tasks, evaluation, description of the context, attention to diversity, and conclusion and bibliography.
